    Little. Red.
I recently began contemplating potentially selling my DC to get a 4x4 reg cab.

    $14,000 (ish)

The used market is so bizarre right now, im having a hard time pricing my truck.

    Here are the details:

    Overview

-2004 Tacoma TRD OR Package with diff lock.

-217,90X miles and counting. I drive about 5 miles a day.

    -Clean California Title

-Clean recent smog and updated tags.

-2 key fobs. Alarm security system.

-Upgraded stereo and speakers with amp. Great sound, good bass. Wired for subwoofer. Deck is a little outdated but works with aux cable.

-Interior is in fine shape. No upholstery tears.

-Weathertech floor mats front and rear.

-Matching camper shell with interior lining and lighting, and roof racks that can withhold RTT

-Regular oil changes, always very well maintained. Engine bay shows. No leaks. Everything tight and clean.

-Timing Belt and water pump done at 170k (no documentation) I bought it on word of mouth.

Things that could get fixed or improved:

-Some squeaks over bumps. I attribute this to the spacer lift, but bushings probably have some wear and could maybe use some new rubber to soften things up.

I’d replace the shocks with Bilstein 5100 adjustable or equivalent and remove the spacer lift.

-E-Brake light is on and e-brake needs to get adjusted. It works, but just needs adjusting, which should fix both issues.

-Door handles have gotten “sticky” this winter specifically. I attribute this to the moisture and seasonal cycling now that its been coastal. Rear passenger door hinge sticks down after opening. Must flip up the lock to close the door. Again, this is new and I have not investigated but should be a pretty easy fix. WD40 or Armorall equivalent to get door mechanisms moving again.

-Truck Bed could use new liner, and shows wear. Someone at some point used the bed for hauling etc.

-Dog hair. I have a German shepherd and hes a mess. Its been my beach dog truck. I will thoroughly wash truck, but inevitable some hairs will get left behind.

-20 Year old paint shows its age. No major peeling, but some small scratches and minor discoloration.

    -AC needs recharge

    -Dim dash light behind speedometer.

    Things that are great/exceptional

-Tires have about 10k on them and plenty of life left.

-Runs smooth and starts every time. I bought the truck in Montana and would drive it back there tomorrow.

    -Engine is in exceptional shape.

-Drives straight and smooth on the highway.

-Interior is in excellent shape with the small exception of 2 screw holes where previous owner had mounted some hardware. Console plugs available via ebay.

-Looks great. Great stance and good paint/pinstriping for 20 year old outdoor truck.

-Steering wheel has cover, but I have a hunch the cover has been on for most of the trucks life. Am tempted to unwrap it.

HAPPY TO GET MORE PICTURES FOR SERIOUSLY INTERESTED PARTIES.

This sale thread is going to get taken down without a set price. Auctions and "testing the waters" are against the BST rules. Try posting in the regular 1st Gen forum for pricing feedback.

That’s a clean truck. I agree the market is currently all over the place here in California. One nice thing is the used market is starting to go up again.
Why not make an ad on a few different platforms and see what offers you get. Start high, go from there

I hate to say this but that’s not a bad truck for 14k.. 13,000 would be a lot easier to accept

If it’s 4x4 hold firm at $14k. Prerunner, I’d say sell to Choy for $12,750. Nice truck btw.
