I have a 2007 Tacoma TRD I recently replaced my alternator and the next day was leaking oil. I have no idea where it’s leaking from but I’m leaning towards the crank pulley seal. I can’t get the bolt to break loose. Any tips?

Best bet is going to be an impact. I think you could pop out the inspection piece in the rear of the motor and have someone hold a pry bar against the teeth on the flex plate/flywheel and then try turning the bolt. When reinstalling add a little anti seize to the crank shaft where the pully slides on it.

Use the starter and a breaker bar. Or just a really long breaker bar with cheater. If you have an auto you’ll need to stick a driver between the flex plate to hold the engine still.

I had a Tacoma last week with a cracked crank pulley that caused this leak.
