If we can figure out who's it is, we can work with W.O.R.N to help get it out. I'm on the East side of the mountains and helped get an Expedition out two nights ago.

I usually carry enough gear to get this thing out in my rig when I go snow wheeling. With a few people to help it would be pretty doable

Thing is nobody has even tried in over a week. If it was mine I would be back ASAP

I sent you a private message, please call me, or text me, so we can work on getting in touch with the owner. I'm going to contact WSP and give them my info so we can work with W.O.R.N to get it recovered.

Looking closer at the photos, the roof looks damaged, rusted where the wrinkles are in the metal, almost like a tree fell on it.

Do you think maybe it's possible the truck was stolen and left there?

Yes the roof looks damaged and rusted. Makes me think it was stolen and abandoned.

    That's always my 1st assumption.

I'm thinking it's stolen, and the owner is unaware or also missing. That's if it's stolen and has not been reported stolen.

Don't some rental places have Tacomas? Based on the color Cavalry Blue making it a 2019, and it looks to be an SR5 DCSB that could very well be a rental.

Edit: the trailer hitch and what ever is attached to the bed rail make it less likely to be a rental, but don't rule it out.

We hope it's not stolen, it's possible the owner just got it stuck, and hasn't been able to get back up there, we've had snow multiple days this past week so it could just be that they have another vehicle for work. Until we know for sure, I would like to reserve any and all judgements for a later time and date.

If it’s a sport with a scoop hood lmk the coordinates and I’ll run up there and help them get it out for the lowly price of a hood swap :notsure:

The problem with calling the local Sheriff, is that it's King County, and they are already too busy with the current high crime of the surrounding Seattle area. At this time, I've called WSP and reported it, and put out a post on the PNW Tacoma's Facebook page, hoping to find the owner.

    No luck yet.

As much as many of us would like some parts off this rig, it would be a real moral low point to just go and take them from what is most likely a vehicle purchased with their hard earned money.

If it was in an easier to access location, closer to Seattle, it would have been the same. At this time, it's in a spot that as of today, requires chains and 4WD to get up to.

Plate-->VIN lookup says the plate belongs to that truck.

NICB says the VIN is reported stolen. Interestingly, that is discordant with NMVTIS database reporting, which doesn't indicate any theft history. Maybe not updated yet.

Side note: sold new from Toyota of Seattle for $37k in 2019, then again from Michael's in Bellevue with 13k miles for ~$43k in 2022. Amazing.
