    HELP! HELP! HELP!
Almost everytime I got the brakes or anything like usually when I’m going slower I hear a metallic clanking noise coming from the front end I haven’t figured out what it is yet I had a friend give me his best guess and tell me it was my lower control arm bushings but it didn’t make much sense to me the trucks only got 39k miles on it. Any suggestions on any possibilities would be appreciated.
Also if anyone knows where I can purchase a suspension kit that includes upper and lower control arms that would be great I would like to lift it 3 or 4 inches but want to fix the problems first.

Brake pad slap. Pull pad and shims. Clean back of pads, both sides of shims. Apply new coat of brake grease on pad backs and both sides of shims. Clean and grease pins. Had this noise as well. This resolved it.

Check the upper control arm bushings. Stare at them while someone turns the steering wheel between stops. You might see a gap that changes size during the motion. If you're solo, turn the wheel all the way to one side then inspect for gaps on either end of either UCA, and note if the gap is different between left and right side.

I have this kind of noise (and a large, variable gap), so please let me know what you wind up finding.

    Thanks,

    David
