    2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4
Hey everyone, this is my first post. Thanks for having me and thanks in advance for whatever clear and to the point answers you might provide.
I am the new owner of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4.
I recently decided to lift her 3” in the front and 2” in the rear. After buying the tires (285/70/17 BFG T/A K02s) and talking more with the shop intended to have install the lift, the cost increased from $6000 to $10000 (because the lower control arms usually fail?) and so I’m putting the lift off for another year or two.
My question is: after reading a lot on these forums it seems that 285/70/17 tires on stock Tacoma wheels and suspension are too big and will rub (depending on who you ask). I don’t want any problems, surprises or to have to make any fender mods no matter how easy. While I’ve seen a lot of posts about the biggest/best tire to fit on a 3rd gen TRD Off Road or 3rd gen TRD Pro but I haven’t seen any in regards to a TRD Sport. Any advice or direction to a post I missed discussing this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to use the stock wheel and suspension fyi.
    Thanks again in advance.

@Jett89, 265/70R-17 would be a solid fit with no suspension mods and factory wheels. There are many options for tires and you might find a lift is not necessary to get the look. If there is a Discount/America's Tire near you, they would be more than happy to test fit to make sure there is no contact. Some Toyota's might need a small mod to the plastic at best. Hope this helps. And welcome to the forum!
