Trying to wire up sime aftermarket raptor lights so they’ll run with both the drl’s and the headlights (100% of the time truck is on). I found on the forums that this can be done using the inj fuse but I don’t have one nor any suitable replacement. I turned to splicing into the drl wire before I remembered that it turns off when the headlights turn on.

I have zero knowledge of electrical wiring, can I simply splice the raptors to the headlights as well and would this make it so it runs with both the drl’s and headlights? Would I need a sperate ground wire? Does the cable being red and black mean I can’t splice into it?

That’s probably a good middle ground if I can’t get it to run all the time, thanks for the welcome.

I figure that way, I have the option of having it on or off during day and at night it’s always on. :)
