USB and sort order

I just installed a Pioneer AVH-P4300dvd and I am using a 16GB thumb drive to hold my music. My last HU was a DEH-P690UB using the same thumb drive. On the 4300 the USB sort order is by date, IOW, the folders come up in date of copy to thumb drive, not alpha. On my 690, the sort order was alpha. Anyone know how/if the sort order on the 4300 can be changed? Kinda sucks that they seem to have regressed the capability from the 690 to the 4300.
