6 speed vibration and whining when shifting into third

Howdy all -

I am trying to diagnose an issue that had just come up. After a week of snow and lots of 4wd driving around town I noticed when I shift from 2nd to 3rd gear and push the pedal down pretty good to keep accelerating there is less power, more vibration and a squeeking noise when I really lay into the pedal. When I lift off the pedal the noise goes away. I also notice less power and more vibration when shifting up to 4th and 5th but no squeek.

The squeek made me think serpentine belt but it is only 2 years old with ~35k on it. Any thoughts out there from folks who are undoubtably better diagnosing than me?

Is your clutch slipping (RPMs increasing but vehicle speed isn't)?

 

Nope no clutch slip. And unfortunately no video of the noise.
