    The relays prevent that.

Was planning on building the harness to have secondary wires coming off of the harness that goes in between the instrument cluster and the preexisting harness and running those wires to a Feniex 4X flasher. Diodes on the primary wires should prevent any backfeeding. The simpler the better.

The board is already made/available, what's simpler than that. But you do you.

The board caribe is talking about does pretty much all of that without the need for the diodes. Its pretty much make harness, plug into board, plug flasher into board, enjoy.

This looks so clean. @5nahalf @Athena32 what kind of switches did you use, and do you need multiple switches for the steady burn, flasher, and selection modes?

I used toyota style switches for mine, so I have one that says "strobe" on it, then I have a blank momentary switch that chances the flash modes. I dont have anything hooked up yet for steady burn, but I might hook it up so my turn signals turn into "chase lights" this summer.

Got it! I saw one of your other posts and you're using this on your MESO Total Tails which is what I'll be doing too.

Hi, I wanted to thank both OP and caribe for the great information in this post. After seeing your contributions, I put my own DIY plug-and-play harness together and wanted to share.

I used connectors for AliExpress and orderd 3 of each with pins for about $30 total from China to my door.

    90980-12767 13PIN Female
    https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802971668547.html
    90980-12766 13PIN male
    https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803004684360.html

I used this 4 channel relay module from czh-labs due to it coming with its own enclosure for $25 via Amazon. I carefully removed the screw terminals, and direct soldered the wires to the thu-holes on the board. I also bridged the 12v power input connection and the four trigger inputs to activate the whole module when power is supplied.

    or
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BNJMNXT

And I used the Strobes N' More 6 Output LED Flasher recommended by OP for $40 with shipping.
    https://www.strobesnmore.com/Strobes-N-More-LED-Flasher.html

I also used some silicon rubber 18 and 20 gauge wire, a two pin power connector, a medium ring terminal to ground on an M6 stud, and an ATM-LP fuse tap. I opted to power the unit off a fuse tap as I'm going to use the same tap to power 3 other relay trigger circuits for nearby OEM stile switches and a dash cam parking mode cable, thus leaving the tow circuit unaffected. Specifically, I'm tapping off the S/roof fuse as it's always live and and I don't have a sunroof.
I'm using a master relay near the interior fuse panel, operated by a custom switch in the overhead console. As built, the truck's turn and hazard circuits operate completely as normal with the unit unpowered. I stashed the 4 way relay module and flasher module in the tunnel space between the lower firewall and center console area (right of the gas pedal). I may redo the harness to make it shorter and stash the modules up on the firewall behind the instrument cluster, but it works great as is.

The only improvement I'd like do, is find a way to instantly disable the system when the turn stalk is moved up or down, then reactivate when the turn stalk is returned to neutral. If anyone knows where to find schematics and information on the turn signal control system, I would be very interested.

    Thanks again all!

I've included my own schematic for reference.
