Dear Fellow First Generation Tacoma Junkies,
I am currently doing the research on what clutch kit manufacturer to put in my family's old Tacoma when it does finally smoke its clutch.
The Marlin Crawler gets good reviews, but it is no longer being produced for first generation Tacomas. What do all of you think of the Luk and the Aisin? Aisin was once the stand by me clutch kit assembly for replacement on first generation Tacomas, but they have recently started to use plastic coil springs as dampening springs on the clutch disc itself, which puts up red flags to me.
Thank you in advance for all of your replies.
    Take care,
    Paul

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Wow still undecided .

We all have our favorites .

So many things impact the life of a Clutch.

I have seen just about every brand wasted by poor clutch use within a 1000 miles.

    Good Luck:fingerscrossed:
