It has been a long time coming but I now own my first Tacoma. A 2015 black Tacoma TRD pro. I found this group because water was getting on my passenger floor board after going through the car wash. The cowl is warped on the passenger side allowing water to drain right onto the cabin filter and then onto the blower motor and tada drips right off the blower motor onto the floor board. Crazy design, especially when a new cowl is like $400. I found a thread within the group that shared a fix for their Tacoma. It was a good idea. I might try to use some weather stripping and stick it to the underneath side of the windshield so that the guides on the cowl can pull the warped part closer to the windshield. If that doesn’t work I will try the tin cover with wire mesh over the hole. Wish me luck.

Put the wire mesh over the top anyways to keep mice and leaves out. Good luck
