Baja Designs Next Generation Squadron SAE

Nearly every major lighting manufacturer has had unexpected delays happen with new product launches in the last 3 years. Mainly around supply chain issues. So wouldn’t call a small delay of a new product launch surprising and a one month delay is pretty minor. That said I’m not familiar with the cause of this one.

 

Sucks for the delay and further waiting… since the October announcement I guess we are all just curious as to what the: (applied new technology to bring a light that is Brighter, Bolder, and Better)

Especially since Im in the market for new lighting.

 

One of our optic vendors hit a roadblock and had to do some retooling on their component which caused a delay in our release date. This being said we are doing all we can to get this light launched as soon as possible in its best form. Once released I will be announcing the details on this forum along with others as well as across all social media platforms.

@Baja Designs , does it look like the middle of February will still be a good time frame for product release and shipments?

 

March 1st will be the finally release date. All specs and details will be dropped on that date.

The instructions say they can be mounted either right side up or upside down. Does this meant hey have the same cutoff in either orientation or is there anything that needs to be modified?

 

The lights are designed to be mounted right side up, if they are mounted upside down the vertical cutoff will be flipped and the light will shine into oncoming traffic. If you are planning on using them upside down they will have to be sent in so we can flip the optics.

That solves why when they were pointed down it was still shining up. How do I start the process of sending them in?
