I'm considering this kit with Fox front and rear shocks. The rear lift is provided by blocks instead of a new leaf pack. What are the thoughts on this? I don't have experience with it.

My next concern is the height of the radar in the grille. Is it possible to recalibrate this? Do I need to look at the Pro style of grille or is that a "looks only" thing included in the TRD lift kit the dealer tried to sell me?

Are you ok with permanently cutting out sections of your frame in order to get that extra inch of lift?

Is it more than the body mount mod that I have seen? I'm not against it as long as it's minor/something I can do with a cutoff wheel at home.

You are permanently removing a cross member. There’s no putting it back to stock without fab work.

Yes. It’s a permanent and damaging modification removing significant portions of the front frame of the truck.

Because it looks like you plan on running the truck hard, a drop bracket big lift isn't ideal.

The 4-6" lifts can offroad fine, and I usually endorse them (especially BDS) but from what I can see you want to push the truck.

A 2-2.5" lift with heavy springs with quality components will treat you much better in the long run.

(just ideas don't buy them from there)

There's a few vendors on here that can help you as you have a pretty substantial budget. Accutune will pop in shortly I'm sure.

    Enjoy the research and opinions.
