Hey guys new to this page and would like some assistance on this , I am currently in the proccess of researching the parts i need to make my truck 4x4 . I found a 97 4runner w/ 3.4 , j shift tcase and automatic tranny as a donor truck . I currently own a 2000 tacoma prerunner 3.4 auto. my question is , is everything on that year 4runner interchangable with my taco ? What are some things i have to be on the look out for ? And for the hubs on the spindles do i have to do manual locking hubs ? Thanks in advanced

Howdy! Welcome to the campfire. Personally speaking, I'd prefer the manual locking hubs vs the auto ones.
