it's been beat to death, I think the advantages are more reduced air noise than the half a MPG gained.
in the end- it takes a couple minutes to uninstall and reinstall, best bet is to try it for yourself if you think you are candidate.

If you do your own oil changes, its in the way of the front engine pan bolts.
Took mine off on first oil change and never looked back.
It may be beneficial if you do a lot of highway driving at high speeds.
Like Chew said, see what works for you.

I get 37 mpg with it, but only 12 mpg without it. That's if I use mexican 30W-10 oil though. Good luck.

I mean it’s just going to turn in to another MPG thread anyways, so might as well coming flying off the top ropes and drop a kabuki on em!

    That depends
With my 2010 and the filter on top. Every 5k. And every third one. I’d run it thru dealer to get a freebie multipoint

now with 2021 and synthetic probably between 8k and 10k and depending how close the dealer does on oil dpecials
For $20 difference they can deal with the mess

I put one on because gas is so expensive. I had a noticeable gain in MPG but not a huge gain

There has been mention of a loss of stability at 150mph+ when the airdam is removed.

    You have been warned! ⚠️

Must have driven off Ayres Rock, Tacos can barely get to 85mph on a flat road

Your data on the Taco is inaccurate.

Ok, your Taco was pushed by another vehicle going 150mph, OR pulled going 150mph.

I'm not saying the Taco will do 150 but one time, uh on the way to band camp, I had it over 100 fairly easy.
