Yes, the headunit settings has DRL to on, and I keep the stalk on auto. Your picture is exactly the same as mine.

Those lights are the exact same ones I had before.

Yes, the drl fuse was located under the hood as you mentioned. I checked and it was not blown. So if the sensor is being blocked from sunlight then it will trigger the DRL to be off? did i understand you correctly? I will check and report back soon.

I know you're a bit past this, but figured I'd answer what's in bold. The DRL's will turn on about 1 second after the parking hand brake is disengaged.

Not sure if this is important to mention or not, but I did notice on my old headlights that the connection for the DRL had 3 wires connected to it whereas the new harness has just two wires. If I understand correctly, the new LED headlights just needs one ground connection which comes from the high beam connection? The turn signal and low beam only have one lead each. And the DLR has just two leads? I guess one from the park and the 12 volt.

    New DRL design (2020+ LED):

    Note for new DRL images:
Ignore the wires with "*9" as those apply to halogen headlights.
*1 & *8 apply to the new LED headlights.

Yes, with these conversion harnesses your either tie all grounds together or you source only one ground. Tying together means blown fuses if any of the h9 connectors are reverse polarity. I prefer a single ground. We most often source it from the high beam circuit on principle since that one is for a 65 watt bulb. The entire led assembly draws a max of maybe half that when everything is on. I have tinkered with the thought of sourcing ground off turn so it’s always correct since those can’t be snapped in the wrong way. But I do as this harness does, ground from just the high beam and plugs for all other grounds. Except for my “with grille lights” harness where I put the drl connector ground to use.

Final update! I am at lost why I didn't notice this before. There was no damn fuse in place for the DRL to begin with. Initially when I checked the fuses I assumed that what was currently placed in the fuse box was the standard set of fuses placed by the factory. I only realized something was missing this when I looked over the fuse guide from the fuse box cover and saw that the 10 amp fuse was missing for the DRL. Sorry for not doing my due diligence. So I replaced the missing fuse and now my DRLs are working! But I am kind of confused why there wasn't a fuse there to begin with? My Limited came with DRLs. But anyhow thanks for all your helpful suggestions. This community is awesome!
