Got a few different quotes from some local shops about getting a 2.5” lift on my 2013 dcsb sr5 by installing Bilstein 5100 all around and an add a leaf. The first one seemed outrageous but the second seemed more reasonable. The owner of the second place recommended that I just do OME nitro charger sports with the 887 coils instead. I’ve seen some differing opinions on OME vs Bilsteins as well as some concerning stuff about the OME coils sagging after a short time. Does anyone have experience with this? And do these shop quotes seem reasonable for the western NC area? My truck is stock but im trying to get it ready for 33s, and much farther down the road add a camper in the back and bumper/wench in the front. Mostly just daily driving but want to be capable off road on some moderate trails. I’m leaning towards the OME but I’m concerned I wouldn’t get the 2.5” I’m looking for. The billies are also super tempting and more in my “price range”, but not as durable of a shock from what I’ve heard though I know a lot of guys run em and like em. Any advice would be super helpful!

Labor at most places is usually $100-150 an hour these days, so that doesn't seem unreasonable.

Since you'll probably put a bumper and winch on at some point in the future, you'll need new coils then, so you'll have to pay for that work to be done again up front. I'd say go with the proper lifted springs to start with

I recommend sticking with one brand.

Yes, OME shocks can be described as firm, and sometimes their coils do lose height over time, but also people measure it as soon as it's installed and hasn't settled yet, and their coils sometimes seem to settle 1/2" or more, so then people think they've sagged, but they just weren't settled.
