Did a transmission drain and fill yesterday, with the 2020 you don’t need to jumper wire to get into temp check mode. I highly suggest while you’re doing your transmission fluid change to do your power steering fluid flush as well as it uses the same fluid. Get 1-2 qts extra for the power steering. Just finished my 60,000 spark plugs replacement as well. From everything I was reading it sounded like a nightmare but honestly wasn’t that bad at all. Def have a cold beer and patience for it though, along with a 10” and 6” extensions

 

I installed a PC a couple of months ago. Worked OK but to me, it still had a very very slight hesitation at times. Replaced it with a Sprint Booster. So far, I like the SB much better. Just seems to be more fluid with the pedal response.

 

Im going back to the office for the first time in 3 years in a few weeks, figured I’d drive by to make sure I remembered how to get there.

 

I took the plunge.

Added Bilstein 5100's to the front and back. With the front being ride-height adjusted to 1.1 inch.
I also added the new Tacoma TRD PRO wheels which have only been on the pro's since 2022.
Absolutely loving it.

I have one. Picked it up for a good price locally on Craigslist. Great upgrade in my opinion. Like that you can play around with the pedal response to your liking or conditions, or turn it off if the wife needs to drive it or when getting serviced.
Tune may be in the future, but that’s if I regear and do the expensive mods.

 

Put on a Tyger Auto roll-up tonneau cover. It’s no backflip hardcover, but it came with a lifetime warranty and it was less than $200.

 

I believe my lift is at the same setting (got about 1-1/2" of lift). You may be ok w/o the cmc (looks like I may have been ok now that I'm seeing the tires at full turn). I was looking at just about every page of this this thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-your-285-75-16-and-285-70-17.469963/) and some people were fine w/o, but I didn't want to chance it since I was driving a ways to get the lift installed anyway. I also have KO2s, which are a little smaller vs other brands, so that may have helped. Good luck!

Instead of the Pedal Commander spend your money on a tune. It'll fix so much more than just the hesitation in the gas pedal.
Once tuned you'll wonder why you waited so long to do it. Seriously its money well spent!

Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX installed this past week. The 9” screen is awesome! Sounds great with Kicker speakers, key amplifier, and hideaway subwoofer as well.

 

Finally got everything in today. Installed Cali Raised bed stiffeners, 8 inch Billiebars, and Rough Country trifold cover. Have to order some brackets for the RTT and then that can be mounted.

 

Just added some RotoXPaxs with lockers. Got them today at the Off-road warehouse in corona California big sale they had today. Supposedly saved 75 bucks
