Ridiculously easy . 30 minutes with cleanup. I do it for the service record and other things they do . I can do these things too. What’s it cost for those 6 qt jugs of oil?

 

Get a fumoto valve and it is even easier.

 

I forget, 20 something bucks for the Supertech synthetic 5 quart at WalMart.
Or wait for a sale on whatever else you prefer.

Hey, the Supertech has all the latest certifications.
As long as an oil has those, I'm oil agnostic

I don't read them myself, but Mrs Gritto is set in her ways.
She gets the Hagerstown paper and the Waynesboro Reckless Herald, every day.
That's a lot of newspapers to get rid of.

Used (synthetic) oil works fine as bar lube for your chainsaw.
Just follow the service interval and don't let the oil get ridiculously dirty.

Also... does anybody else make newspaper logs?
Roll up newspapers tightly, put some rubber bands on it, and soak in a bucket of water for a day.
Take out and let dry, it'll be pretty solid.

Here's the good part.
Don't tell the EPA

Another way to get rid of excess used motor oil:
Put some excess oil in a big coffee can and stand one of those logs in it for a day or two.
It'll soak up a good bit of oil.
Burn in your coal burner to get your coal fire going good and hot.

Waste not, want not.
And I ain't payin to dispose of it

I would sit down and read erryone of those.

 

You don’t look at them, you go by feel. If it feel too hot, you turned it the wrong way.

2nd Generation ain’t any better. I upgraded to the lighted ones but it just lights the circle but not the arrow.
