OEM Running boards interfer with OEM mud guard

    The Toyota part number for the boards in OP is 00016-35798 and in the instructions it specifically lists that it conflicts with the mudflaps. That happens sometimes. SET probably didn’t think it was a big deal since they probably don’t include the flaps on trucks by default.

    Apparently the aftermarket company has made a batch of these that have the mounting brackets shifted 1" further to the rear which places the running boards further forward and interferes with the OEM mud guards.

    Cool, you found the part number. Here's the details for those that are interested.
