When I researched, it's actually an auto racing helmet. I crashed my last motorcycle (Yamaha R1M) wearing a high end Shoei helmet and it certainly saved my ass from a hospital visit.
The other problem is it's a medium I'm a big dude so it fits so tight, the veins are popping from my forehead. I saw one on ebay for 1400 dollars but I think it's going to look nice on my trophy mantle.
