Anyone got some advice on how to repair this trim piece? Should I just repaint it or does someone sell a replacement piece for it? From what I can tell you can’t get just this trim piece…In the grand scheme not a big deal but it annoys me every time I open the door lol.

7420204050B1 or 7420204060B0 is the part I believe (should be able to pick it up for around $55).

I'd plug your truck into parts.toyota.com to verify.

You're welcome. I'd recommend ordering it online from your local dealer's parts site for local pickup. Don't buy directly in the shop, they charge more than their online prices (apparently toyota subsidizes some of the online purchase). Buying slightly cheaper from somewhere else that will still charge you taxes and shipping usually makes that a wash from my recent purchasing experiences.

I should also note that the last two characters are color codes: b0 metallic silver, b1 gunmetal grey, c1 matte black

    Pretty sure you want 7420204060B0

Magnetic grey is close. I popped off a used Tacoma trim pieces and repainted all 4 of them on a used Tacoma I was working on for resale. Looked amazing and will hold up better than the thin coating from Toyota. I dusted three coats on it, 3000 grit water rubbed it and then two coats of clear dusted on it and it was not overly glossy. Looked OEM in my opinion!
