Hi Fellow Tacoma-People -- I joined the forum today while searching for wiring diagrams for my 2003 Tacoma TRD crew cab with 541,000 miles on it. The tail lights corroded so bad that I replaced them - but now the passenger tail ight is not working. Corrosion is reclaiming my Tacoma. Both sides of the frame in front of the rear shocks are severely corroded. I installed Safe-T-Caps on both sides last Fall - but the frame still partially gave way and now the bed is pressing against the cab and every bump is now quite noisy. It runs as good as the day I bought it bought it - and I am too old to justify buying another one. So - worst case scenario I run a jumper wire from the trailer wiring to the tail light and press on. I have referred to the forum for years for all the repairs I have had to do to keep my truck on the road.

    Welcome to TW.
I get you don’t want to spend on another one but it sounds like yours may not be safe to be on the road!
541k miles she’s done well for you!
