The shocks are the limiting factor even with stock springs. I'd start looking at a shock relocation if you really want more travel. I used to just remove the shocks when I was rock crawling.

Also- make sure you have an extended brake line.

I eventually welded a bar between the two frame rails, and fabed up some shock mount tabs (now-a-days, you can just buy nice laser cut ones). I went with a / \ angle on the shocks. Then just cycle the suspension and measure for shock length. If I did it again, I'd do a nicer job, but go for the same approach. I ultimately went back to the stock location as I don't rock crawl anymore and the shocks I used weren't rebuildable.. But the mounts are still there.

So I dont crawl and want to use the same location. The relocation is an idea but will cost. ill keep it in mind.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Relocation allows you to -

    1. Run a larger variety of shocks

    2. Utilize the travel offered by said shocks

    3. Utilize a custom leaf pack to it's fullest potential because of 1 and 2

You don't have to "crawl" but even with some moderate wheeling, travel (especially down travel) can help keep a wheel on the ground in an otherwise sketchy situation.

If you're looking for more travel, relocation is pretty much your only option. What I mentioned is really the cheap option. If you want to keep your shocks upright, then you're going through the bed. Good luck.
