So I got a wicked deal on some new icon 2.5 extended travel coilovers, but when I opened the box up it says it's for a 2010+ 4runner/FJ. Part number is #58647. Will these still work on my 2009 Tacoma?

I've done some research and it seems like it should fit, but would like to be 100% sure before i try to install them. Would appreciate any feedback.

    Pic for attention

    Should be fine
Most of our suspensions are interchangeable

Should be good. Easy enjoy to look up what the part number is for a taco and see if they match.

Not sure about Icons, but I helped a buddy swap over the factory Fox's from a TRD Pro 5th gen 4unner over to his 2nd gen Tacoma. The 4R uses a larger diameter bushing in the lower shock mount that had to be modified to bolt up to the lower control arm. A quick email to Icon should give a definitive answer on any differences.

Like the person above said. The lower shock mount it bigger on 4Runner so might need to be shaved.

another thing….I was doing research to buy some 4Runner bilstein 6112/5160 and I found out that they are slightly smaller. Height wise.

Any update to this? Do you need to cut down front and rear? Could just swapping bushings solve this?
