Trail Grid Pro Kicker Plug & Play 6 Speaker swap in JBL System?

Hi, searched around and haven't seen much info on this setup and swapping just the speakers and keeping the rest of the JBL system? From my research this shouldn't be an easy swap?

Any advice on this would be great. I'm hoping to easily swap the speakers for the time being and eventually add a new head unit, amp and subs later.

Why not buy them at crutchfield for a reasonable price?

 

This was my first thought as well, apparently they do all the wiring and shrink wrapping etc for you. I'm not familiar enough to understand if this justifies the higher prices, also that the stock JBL system doesn't play well with 4 ohm speakers.

 

The kicker KS are 4ohm speakers so them offering a JBL-compatible version and charging you $500 for this is a joke in my opinion.
