Easy install and fits perfect. Probably should have just been like this from the factory.

Anyone have a recommended cup holder insert that fits the Z Precision size? My metal water bottle rattles a bit and I want something in the bottom of the cup holder to cushion that. The ones I can find on Amazon are designed for the smaller stock cup holder size.

I hope Toyota is reading this forum.

Such a simple fix for their newer models--redesign the cup holders!

They can even create more jobs: Who wouldn't want to be 'Cup Holder Engineer' for Toyota?!

I am curious if this is a problem in other Toyota models (cars, SUVs)?

Maybe something similar to these and cut to size?

Yes, you can see in the pic that they are a good fit. They are on the thin side so I just put 3 of them on each side since they come in a 6 pack.

Nope. Just pull the lower center console. It's only held by clips. 5 min effort.

It is super easy, maybe 10 minutes. I think there’s an install video somewhere in this thread.

Been rocking a cheapo larger cupholder insert for years and its janky. This is going to be one of my fav mods

FWIW I installed and am happy with the AJT (didn't know about this one before purchasing). Fits fine for me.

Just a heads up for any Canadians looking to order. It's shipped via UPS and they added a 40.55 CAD charge for their (handling and brokerage fee). That put this at $128 CAD after the exchange rate. I probably wouldn't have ordered if I had known.

That said, I'm looking forward to receiving it to hold our Yetis and Nalgene.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
Once put back together is the center console “factory tight” again? Just worried about extra ratels and creeks but really want to stop driving with my Nalgene on my lap.

I lay my nalgene on its side on the gap between the hand brake and the console. Rides great.

It would be possible to simply use a smaller bottle

General rule for Canadians...avoid UPS cross-border shopping. They have the highest extra fees.

I knew that but didn’t have an option at checkout so it was a gamble.
