Leaking Clutch/Brake fluid

Loosing fluid slowly over about 4 month period. 2005 4dr Offroad shortbed 6spd standard

Found the leak....

My clutch master under my clutch pedal.

Slow leak, but coating of fluid all over the place on the piston assembly and carpet.

QUESTIONS:

1. How hard is this to fix? I'm pretty good with everything but engine internals.
2. Any tricks or hang ups I should know, or look out for? i.e. fluid spraying everywhere n' chit.
3. Best place to get the replacement parts?

I had mine replaced last december. I was going to do it myself, but decided I'd let someone else have the fun. Looked like it was more of a neck job than I wanted to deal with in the cold. Cost me about 325 to have it replaced at the dealer.

All in all it was a knuckle scuffer at best.

I disconnected the meatal brake line,
then pulled the black brake fluid hose off the inner firewall.

Removed the two bolts holding the Master Piston assy.

Calipered the old piston and transfered the length for the adjustment setting on the new one.

Took small black hose off old piston and put it on the new one, then slid it up into place and pushed the other end of hose back onto the inner firewall.
Aligned the metal brake line and threaded it back on. (10mm)
Put piston in proper place on pedal.
And then 2 bolts back on (12mm)
Bled Tranny like a brake, easy to find underneath.

I know this post is super old, but I am dealing with this right now. I am debating whether to bring it somewhere to get fixed vs. Trying it myself. I am not a professional mechanic, but I do do all my maintenance n my truck. I also installed my lift myself. I feel as though this is something I could do, I just hate working in those cramped spaces. Lst time I was working down in that area was to install my entire towing setup. I wanted to scream! Any insight, ideas, suggestions regarding my dilemma would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
