+1 on 4x Innovations. I have their sliders and skids on my 4R, and they are the bomb. I highly recommend. Their sliders "cup" the frame, and are supported by 3 sides of the frame. Unlike others that are simply a flush mount and are bolted to the outside of the frame. The skids and sliders bolt together using brackets. I believe with some companies, their skids will not work with another companies sliders.

If they truly cup the frame on three sides, you better slather them in anti-seize or fluid film and take them off every year blast them. Otherwise, they'll collect water and you're in for world of hurt then

I actually refuse to get sliders after seeing someone on here in the rust belt who did slather anti-seize before putting them on and it still rusted pretty bad underneath.

    :101010: Looks really good!!

    What he said.

There is hopefully no recovery. Only recovery gear.

I have these as well, fit great and the cupping around the frame is strong.

100% this, listen to this man he speaks the truth. Woolwax and more Woolwax with annual removal to coat underneath. Pain in the ass but your frame will thank you. Don’t skip this maintenance if you go bolt-on.

Yeah, we know who you're referring to there. :D

You make a great point about freight costs. White Knuckle is in CA. When ordering it says to send them a message to check on that cost based on zip code. I may have messaged them. I'm just curious, ya know...

Looks like 4X has a DCLB version, but it's sold bare metal and is a weld on kit. I have almost zero welding experience, so I'd prefer bolt on, but it's obviously cheaper to get a weld on kit and find someone to powder coat it. BAMF does have a DCLB kit as well, but when you add the bolt on option and paint they get very pricey, not including shipping.

Got told I was slack'in because I lacked a gas tack skid... Priced that RCI unit and nearly choked. I'm in a couple lunch hours and there you have it. Almost dun. Waiting on the straps (thanks @Supr4Lo)! May not be as pretty as yours; but, kinda like underwear, if you don't see it who cares. Saved most of $500 for something more obvious... 35's perhaps? Also you can spy some tire tables in the works for those who have pending orders...

Today was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy nature. Videos never do justice, but I tried to capture how serene it is standing in the sun watching the snow fall off of trees. Also was able to get an oil change done as well which always feels good.

I have YouTubeTV, and when an advertiser hasn't paid up or whatever, sometimes instead of a commercial you'll get a serene scene like your video. Totally reminded me of that. Just needs some chirping birds or a babbling brook for a bit of sound. Great pics, as usual!

Thank you! Yeah, the phone mic can't really capture the subtle sounds of the snow falling. Like the last 10 seconds have some sound but otherwise you have to crank it to hear anything.

Yeah, definitely have to consider them as well. I had forgotten about that sale, and the total for long boi sliders is just above the threshold to get the 20% off. Dammit.

I hafta wait another 10 days to see what that bonus is gonna be...
