    I like working on the Taco as much as I enjoy splitting a chainsaw case. The best part, I know on the last wrench, everything is going to be the way it should with no short cuts.

    You are right. I was thinking safety features which started in 2018 Tacomas. Which is why I thought 3.0 might have came out that time.

    i bought my 2016 in oct 2015 it is still s 2016.
    "all the improvements"? maybe the frame thing, as far as trans only improvements is re flashing the computer with updated trans info. the issue continued way past 2018 and all of us can get the latest flash. as far as the timing cover leak no improvement at all, still installed with just sealer. some here with 2020+ are having issues with it.
    if you are getting your info from the guy on the video that says mid way thru 2018 they did a bunch of improvements he is nuts.
