Truck is at the dealer for the aforementioned coolant bypass pipe repair. Toyota of Brookfield came in reasonable and it looks like I’m getting my money’s worth.

    text from service advisor:
“The repair is not going as quick and smooth as I had hoped. The tech informed me the only time he has replaced this part is when the motor was out of the car. There are several bolts that are not easy to get to. I will need to keep the truck overnight to complete the repair. I apologize for any complications this might cause for you.”

    So. Many. Stickers.
    Indeed.

I have wheeled with people who are all about breaking things. I never go on a second ride with them.

The Max's are expensive compared to the Pros for not much more output. BUT..... That cutoff line.....

I have SS3 Sports in both trucks, yellow on the wheeler and white on the kid mobile.

    One day I'll get there....

They offered to shuttle me around, but it’s warm enough to drive the Jeep right now. Just need to keep an eye out for salty roads/puddles.

Ahh, It sounds like we are on the same page, then. I keep wondering and worrying about when some reckless dipshit is going to show up on one of our trail runs. So far, we have been lucky.

I've read about that cutoff. It has me torn between the sport, and the max. It sounds like any version will be a massive upgrade from the OEM fogs.

    That's good!

I went pro and now max over sport because they said it runs hot enough to melt snow/ice off the lenses.

Here’s a mod @Thatbassguy might appreciate. I’m down in Austin, TX. And the wife’s cousin has this on his Tacoma.

this basket for a cooler and rod holders. Set up for trout fishing off the beach in the gulf.

There is also an aquarium air pump under the hood to make the cooler a live well for bait.
His friends shark fish from shore with rod holders hard mounted in the bed. They use a drone to drop live bait 400-500 yards offshore.

    Awesome!

I've actually thought about building something like that, for beach fishing.

    The drone thing is brilliant!

Haha! Might as well just flip them upside down and wait for everything to melt.

Funny; I have been thinking the same thing. My kayak has been used more in Florida than in Wisconsin the last two years. And, there are two lakes within 5 minutes of my house. :anonymous:
