This reminded me of one of life's more embarrassing moments.....

    Story Time With Tom

So, back in Jr High School, like 1980, 81 maybe. In California at that time, schools had this "President's Physical Fitness" thing we had to participate in, it was basically a couple of activities that you were scored on, the school submitted their total scores, and if the school achieved a certain <something>, the school got a certificate signed by the President [of the U.S.] to display, showing the world their students were physically fit.... blah blah blah.

So The Day arrived. My PE (Physical Education) class went into the gym, as it was raining that day, and we were doing Sit Ups and I forget what other exercise... We did this just like the Army did in my time (a few years after I graduated Jr High, of course). We had say 10 "stations", where one student did the sit-ups, and another student held their feet in place.

Side Note: I was not popular with girls when I was in school. and not really any other time in the last 40+ years....

So naturally, when it was my turn to do the sit-ups, I had this very cute girl assigned to hold my feet. She was not very happy about having me, and tried to switch places with someone else, but the teacher told her to just hold my feet, and get it over with. So, I started doing the sit-ups. About 20 or so in, on an "up", I squeezed out a nice, loud fart.

The poor girl screamed, stood up and ran out of the gym. Everyone else heard it and busted out laughing. Someone else had to come hold my feet so I could continue.

You beat me to this post.

My Army Basic Training (Ft. McClellan, AL) did have female soldiers also in BT, but we were very much segregated. If the female company got to the chow hall first, we were not allowed within 1/4 mile of them, and we went and did police call, or some other mindless nonsense until they were done and marched away from the chow hall, armory, whatever it was. Funny thing was, we had 2 female Drill Instructors in my Company.

I have a cousin who is 4 years younger than I. He took "inspiration" from me, and enlisted when he graduated high school. By then (1989), he told me females had been very highly integrated into all facets of Army life, and you were pretty much always mixed together.

I thought you'd leave it up until winter was over.

I did notice that if the page was long enough, as you scrolled down the snow didn't fall all the way down the screen.

    I doubt it.
    Need to weigh your priorities..
Just because someone catches fish somewhere doesn’t mean you will.

    True story.

Was at one of my lakes and was second in line to this obnoxious POS “professional “ angler.
He had all the gear, all the swag, and the 150k boat. Took his time and tied up the ramp etc.
    So
He was out fishing and not doing much at all.
He went down one section and didn’t catch anything.
So I came in and drifted down the same area.
    He yelled out nothing there.
I said thanks as I pulled up a fish.
    He saw it.
2 min later I had another.
    He saw it.
About 5 min later I had a third.
He stopped fishing and looked at me and I said. I don’t need all that fancy stuff to catch fish.
Oh, I could see the fiberglass melting he was so pissed… lol

Oh, I'm sure that plenty of us had noticed, for me it was just a silent 'thank goodness it's gone' type of moment. :D

How is everything on your end? I only have you for 1 desk flip so far since Jan 1st.

Ok, so have some fun with this. Tell the little ones that you're older then 40 and you're in need of another young soul to keep living and that any one of them would suffice just fine! You know, go full 'Grimm reaper' on them
