Ive got an Axial SCX10III with some mods thats super fun and pretty good at what its intended to do and an RC4WD Trail Finder 2 that I love for its scale realism but its not as good as a linked chassis meant to crawl like the Axial. Edit: the guys I know that were super in 1:24 are now getting 1:6 rigs and I reeeaaallllyyyy want one.

    Nice!

I currently have the SCX24 C10...super fun truck!

I'm looking at the Redcat Gen8 V2 Scout or the Traxxas TRX4 Sport as 1:10 options...leaning more Redcat, though

ETA: The Element Enduro Trailrunner rounds out my top 3 picks

Hey man, not sure if you got a response for this yet. I know I'm a few months behind but I haven't been on the forums in a while. I'm running full ICON Stage 10 with Stage 3 S2 Secondaries and I love it. I haven't been out for a while but I've beaten the shit out of my suspension and had no issues. It can get a little rough on the road if you run the recommended PSI in the tires I have, but I run them around 25 PSI and that takes care of it. Just my 2 cents.

Got it all for $1000! The setup has 1,700 miles on it, except for the add a leafs which are brand new. The guy I got it from is building a truck for a mega-rich Alaska fisherman who is 5.7 LS swapping and long traveling his taco.

sometimes get sketched out with my sway bar on going 80mph down that mountain. I figured with the sway bar off it would give a lot more body roll and make it hard to go as fast (safely)... Could also be driver mod that you guys have

Solid choice! If you’re looking for some stuff locally TandemRC in mesa has a lot of enduro upgrades and some other. Alliance in mesa also has a lot of variety

Removing the sway bar actually allows the suspension to cycle properly and gives the best ride quality. I have 16" x 400lb springs which is considerably softer than most people run and I don't think my truck feels overly squishy, squirrely or has any other bad behavior. I've purposely taken corners at a higher than prudent speed to see how it handles and it does lean some but definitely doesn't feel dangerous. I also have super bumps too which I think offers a sort of progressive dampening when cornering. I've driven plenty of old 50's, 60's & early 70's land yachts that have unbelievably sloppy handling and IMO a Taco with no sway bar is 1000% more controllable in emergency maneuvers.

I ditched my sway bar and have noticed no ill impact to on road manners, including plenty of twisty mountains. No brainer on my set up.

I appreciate the input, I’m going long travel and kind of building the kit myself (and I have been chasing my tail ever since  ) and I’m kind of between fox and kings now :bananadead:
