    Been using my heated mirrors all winter, never had an issue yet. Best idea Toyota had in awhile for us that live in a climate with 4 seasons. When they get warm enough they must have thermo protection, as they shut down after 15 minutes or so.

    My experience has been just the opposite. Without any airflow to drive the water drops off, can't see CHITE out them when they have only dew covering them. MAYBE the combo of RainX and heat will do something. I too, thought it was rear window defogger, so learn something new every day!

    I thought it was that, but now that I think about it, that makes no sense. Passenger cars have lines in the rear window that defrost, but the Tacoma window has none.

    Speaking only for myself, obviously.

    don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s Friday, most drivers don’t read their manuals, some don’t know where they are..hehe. My wife always goes to the manual for any questions. Surprise the answers are usually there.

    The "synch" light should be on and the setting for both be HER choice to begin with.
