Hey all! I have a 2012 Tacoma with a full stereo system. For a head unit I gave the Alpine ilx-w650 with the amp that goes behind it. 2 kicker subs and jl audio speakers in all doors. Recently I have been having an issue where my rear right door speaker will make a static sound like a radio channel with poor signal. It then will jump in volume compared to all the other speakers and then will cut back down. Sometimes all speakers will stop plying minus that right rear one. Then it will just play out of that speaker for a few seconds super loud and then go back. I’ve checked all wiring and played with the wires while music is playing and it doesn’t seem to cause the speaker to freak. All speakers are using crutchfields adapter cables. All of the connectors look clean. Does anyone know what could be causing my speaker to act up? It’s driving me crazy!!

Not a wiring issue? My guess it’s the HU/amp. Did you check the connection between the HU and amp?

Yea I checked the connectors and everything seems to be plugged in fine. I was afraid it might be the head unit since that isn’t exactly a cheap fix hahaha.
