    Hi everyone
Please see the second part of my original post, that pretty much sums it up so far.
The police are taking their sweet time with their investigation,no other details so far.
But I am being optimistic at this point.

Can you find out from repairs if they disabled or altered the GPS system? Did they cut the horn? When my 2022 Tacoma was stolen the police wouldn't bother working with Toyota Connected services. They said the GPS was most likely disabled or altered. I bet it was an excuse for them not to take action.

Stolen vehicles are usually at the port of Montreal after a few days. Unusual it sat there for three weeks. There were a couple theft rings busted a few weeks ago. It may have delayed your truck being shipped overseas. You are very lucky.

Glad they found it and it’s not trashed. Put an AirPod into it so if it disappears again it’ll be easier to find.

Hey everybody, well just went over with insurance adjuster,a couple of minor dents on the front fenders,I think it was from pushing the truck by hand to get it out of the underground garage. I don’t think paint will be involved..
A resale was planned so it was Not abused.
The biggest issue is that the truck has been re VINed, dashboard VIN up top and a door sticker with another (wheel size doesn’t match with the other sticker next to it and it’s made in Mexico,2019 TRD Pro was made in Texas)and the Most troubling part is that the computer VIN is also changed, all 3 spots are the same VIN.
The Toyota dealer said that 3 computers need replacing along with the fobs.
Since they can Not legally re VIN a vehicle.
The Toyota scan tool is Not able to accomplish it…but the thieves were able to with dark web devices.
Someone else here was asking about horn wire cut and GPS removed but 2019 didn’t have the Web access options. So No wiring damage.
I think they smell insurance $$$.
I would be interested in hearing your opinions about this.
Super happy to get it back Alive…

I'd get rid of it just because of the vin issues.
