    My first post!!

I am so thrilled to have found this forum!!
    You guys are AWESOME!!!!

    I bought a new 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR w/utility package......bare bones.
    Magnesium Grey Metallic.
    I love it!!
Only mods so far is some lowered side steps as the truck is so much higher than the
    2007 I used to have.
And, I had a Catalytic cover installed so I don't have to worry about that.
I just keep my tailgate locked at all times so hopefully that will keep my tailgate from
    getting stolen.

Previously, I had a 2007 Tacoma and I loved that old Taco.
It was bare bones --- manual crank windows, etc!! -- and a 5spd manual stick shift.
    I kept it stock.

I would still have it if it were not for the accident I was in back in 2021.
Someone smacked in to me and totaled my beloved truck.
I was in the hospital for a while and then rehab for 4 months.
Still in the process of recovering but at least I can drive now.

I really wanted another manual stick shift but thought I'd better have an automatic this time since that was part of my problem in not being able to drive sooner.......still recovering from a gruesome dislocated leg, seriously fractured pelvis, numerous infections in my left knee/leg from puncture wounds from parts of the truck.

    I can't believe how much of a change a "bare-bones" model is.
It has electric windows, electric side view mirrors, a back camera, a computer screen, and so much more. Still have to open the doors with a key but at least I can lock them with a push of a button as I get out of the truck.

    Anyway,
Am looking in to getting some fog lights installed, a lowering kit (SOS 2/3.5), and ceramic window tinting but will post on the proper forum subject for info on those items.

    Will post pics later.

Thank you all for being here!!

Rexing front and rear dash camera, some LEDs, Weathertech HP floor liners/vent shades/bug deflector/underseat storage bin, OEM Ford bed mat, Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros in selective yellow, Diode Dynamics 18" light bar in amber and universal Carhartt seat covers. Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
Welcome to TW! Glad your doing better! A lot of people on here, myself included as I have them, will recommend the Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights. I don't know where you are located but if you get snow the SS3 Pro is recommended because the Sport version doesn't melt snow. They're not the cheapest but are high quality lights!

Welcome to TW. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. The new Taco will take some getting used to. I definitely miss my old ‘89 5-speed.
