That’s the plan for now, hopefully they come down an 1” at least and I can live with that
If I was loaded down more like your setup with an extra 200 plus pounds they actually would be perfect.
With 300 400 pounds in the rear it’s perfectly leveled with a 2” lift with the kings upfront. FYI for anyone else wanting that setup with these springs

An update on the CS018R OME Springs,

So I called OME and they said they don't make a spring pack for the 1995-1997 tacoma trucks,
The CS018R springs pack is actually for a Hilex pickup

These springs can be used for the 1995-1997 single cab BUT need to be modified.

The hillex weight is 4500 lbs and the single cab is 3200lbs.

So if you install the complete 6 leaf pack you will have a 4" lift or so in the back.
So if you want a 3.5" - 4" lift these will work or if you plan on 300-500 pounds in the bed they will work.
Im shooting for 2" lift in the back with kings up front that give the front 2" lift.

Passage side I removed the 3rd spring from the top and 2 of the overload springs and this gave me my 2" lift at the rear and now im level.
On the drivers side I removed the 3rd spring from the top and ONE overload spring so the drivers side is raised the thickness of the smaller overload spring 1/2" to help off set the taco lean.

It rides very smoothly now and adding 400 pounds of gear flexes the rear about an inch or so down

happy with the outcome and finally leveled!
Below are the 2 springs I removed from the original 6 leaf pack

for my first suspension upgrade, I've been looking into this OME setup It looks like it would fit my truck. I have already contacted them about rear springs since I have a regular cab. but has anyone else bought this kit before? what are your thoughts on it? did you have any issues?

OME up front, Dakar in the back, Elite front bumper, Warn winch, Tactical rear bumper with tire swing/jerry cans/hi lift, Revenge Fab. sliders, Tundra brakes, Camburg UCA's, Safari Snorkle, FJ TRD wheels, Lights, CB, Switches, skids, LED's... OH MY!
I have the OME CS005R leaf packs for my rear lift and was looking at my options for a refresh vs. total replacement. They have been on for about 4+ years/50k miles and are pretty flat if not a little negative arch.

Has anyone replaced individual leaves and/or added 1 or 2 of the full leaves to the pack to get some positive Arch back?

Any other ideas for a refresh?

Do you still have your old set? I replaced my OEM about 12 years ago with Wheelers OEM equivalent at about 120k miles. These got tired and saggy a few years back so I drug out the OEM from my bushes. Split both sets and reassembled various leaves until I got a 6leaf pack and no overload. These have held up stellar the last few year but now I want to drop the rear maybe 1”. So I will remove one leaf and see how that does. It’s a fairly simple process but is somewhat time consuming.

Just finished putting mine on. I have the extra leaf in there, Firestone airbags with daystar cradle. I wheel it sometimes and I also carry a DR650 on a hitch rack sometimes. Night and day difference from my old broken ones.

Just seems skewed to me. Guess I'll find out whenever it finally is time to install. Still need to break it down and add in the trim packer.

Post a pic of the bottom of your spring. It almost looks like the spring is upside down.

Ouch. Even though these were a Wheeler purchase, they were shipped out of trail gear. The assembly people over @ trailgear need to take some pride in their work.

These are both going to be re-done. Not going to trust their work. Plus that trimpacker wasn't put in.

So broke down the crap assembly trail gear did yesterday using an OTC Strut Tamer compressor (bad ass btw). Didn't notice it yesterday but ran into an issue when I looked at the driver side this morning.

ISSUE: The bottom metal cushion retainer rattles around, and has about 3-4mm of vertical play on the shaft of the shock, and the dust cover is loose and rattles.
I must have botched the install since it wasn't rattling/had that much play before.

Install instructions below. Found a more legible copy than what I received. @scocar uploaded some time back, those are his notes in red, not mine) -
    Nitro_Instruct.jpg

Everything is there but there is movement. Not sure why. Any ideas?

If anyone has a better assembly approach, please suggest away. Kind of burning out on assembling these things and getting ready to toss them in the parts bin and forget about them for a year or two lol.

These are 2882 coils with nitrochargers.

    Thanks!

EDIT: FWIW, according to the instructions you're supposed to re-use your OE retainer but these were fully assembled by trail gear. So whatever top hat/spring seat locator they used must've included it.

Based on their shit work, I don't think it is reasonable to assume they did. Someone was poorly trained, or not trained, or high as fuck.

So finally resolved this coilover nightmare - thx Wheeler's/TG. Disassembled, trim packer added, reassembled. Scratched them up a bit but it's done.

2882s ready to go on once I decide on a winch and possibly dump stock skid for aftermarket. Truth be told these springs are probably going to end up sitting in the box for ?? months. Not in a rush.

Ended up using this compressor -
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DP2CDJU

Felt completely safe. Took a few minutes to figure out the best way to seat the 'jaws' on the coil spring but it worked without issue - even used the impact on it. Impressed with this compressor.

I do still want that Brannick 7600. Just can't justify that 1500+ price tag.

I bought one of these compressors last year and have used it at least 8 times between finding the coils I wanted for my b6 Avant and swapping struts on my Tacoma. Will be using them in a few weeks to swap in some 883s. I have a receiver hitch mounted bench vice from HFreight and simply clamp the compressor into it and use the tailgate as a work bench.

    If you're talking about these,

I ended up just calling ARB and then sent me a bunch at no cost. I believe the part# is CLK6.

If you are looking for those round isolator pads/discs which reside at the end of the leafs, try ARB. Maybe Summit Racing? Aftermarket is available. I believe Dorman has a part for them.

    ARB USA TECH SUPPORT:
    866-293-9078

If you track it down, post the part#s.

There are some rectangular shaped stick on teflon pads on fleaBay that go inbetween the leaves.
