Do you walk in rooms and forget why you went in there and then go back where you were thinking it might jog your memory?

    This is what I have
I found the best way to keep from losing glasses is to keep them on. That's the 1st thing I grab as soon as I get up or I can't see to get my coffee and breakfast going. :D:thumbsup::rofl:

well two firsts tonight...charbroiled prime rib and i had to call the restaurant while still in the restaurant and threaten to walk out if my waitress didn't bring my bill
she brought my order and i thought it was wrong because there was grill marks across the meat. i said "i ordered the prime" "oh yeah, they were out of med well" who the F does that?!?!? and its a steakhouse!!!! like the only thing on the menu is cow! how can they run out of it?!?! or now know how to cook it!?!?!?
and then after she took my empty plate away she just freaking disappeared. I could see her in the kitchen talking and she would poke her head out of the kitchen but she just ghosted me for 20 minutes. so i called and told the gal who answered that my waitress had two minutes to bring my damn bill or it was on the house. she came over right away and i was already standing up and putting on my coat to go.

I hope you've never seen the movie Waiting. Because after I watched that you'll never say anything about the food again. :D:popcorn:

don't need to worry because i won't be going back there!
used to be a good place, local mom and pop MT place. i'm usually pretty patient but there were 4 waitresses in the half of the restaurant that i was in and they all disappeared. and being that i could see the gal that was supposed to be taking care of me just screwing off in the kitchen really got me.

Steak house I go to will run out of steaks too if you don't get there early. It's not that they don't have enough, it's because they have a reputation of being 1 of the best in the area. And all the waiters and waitresses will come around and ask if you need anything even if it's not their table.

With prime rib, it's not that uncommon as it's such a large cut of meat that takes several hours to cook and most places only cook so many a day. Also, most normal people order Med-Rare, not Med-Well:annoyed:, so it's unlikely they precook any to Med-Well. They can always cook meat a little more to your liking, but they can't uncook it. I can certainly sympathize with your wait-staff issue. I had a similar experience at BWW a couple of weeks ago.:annoyed:

never had a problem before :notsure: and i was there within 45 minutes of them opening for the night. main dining room was practically empty when i got there. no way they were out at that time of night.

on the flipside....there's a little place i go to that the owners are gluten free like me so i can eat with peace of mind that they understand the restrictions and i'm not going to be "poisoned" anywho...they're in west yellowstone at the airport. little ways out of town and its been hard for them finding extra staff since the airport management dictates their hours so any job is only part time at best. its a husband and wife that own it. maybe they're both there at the same time but most days its just the guy doing it all. he runs his ass off when its busy and i know its been a struggle for them. i'm just thrilled about getting the best damn hamburger i've ever eaten and not having to worry about getting sick afterwards. he apologizes 100 times if it takes a little longer and usually comps me my drink and upcharge for the GF stuff. i was even helping play hostess one day when some folks came in and looked a little lost...he was back fixing up my order and didn't hear them come in. so i told them to grab any table, brought some menus over, and told them the owner would be out in a minute. sat back down and he rounded the corner with my burger, thanked me profusely and went over to greet the people i seated. so yeah, i can be patient and understanding when i know folks are doing their best. not so understanding when i can see my waitress blatantly ignoring me while she gossips with a girl making salads.

Well the 50 mile drive back home from Dog sitting was fun ....... Not !!!. Right when my SIL got back home the skies opened up pouring rain . It was raining so hard l could barely see where I was going even with new wipers on high speed on a clean windshield . My bright LED headlights were no help as I could barely see the lane markers

Even with reduced speeds due to the heavy rain there was quite a few accidents . But what got me is seeing people driving with their hazard lights on which is illegal in many states
