Hello all, after some consideration I have decided to go with the trd lift, My only concern is, and I have done some research, is if the trd lift components will fit my 2016 sr5. From my understanding it shouldn’t be an issue but before I pull the trigger I am looking for someone who has the 16 to confirm everything does fit. Not talking about the grill or radar I know those things aren’t compatible but just the lift components. Thanks

I’m able to secure the kit just the lift not including the grill and radar for 700? But what are some better options that you know of? I’m trying to consider everything before making the purchase

i actually just seen right after in the trd lift thread that guy that bought shocks separate. my dealer wanted over 2 grand for full kit which definitely isnt worth it

Definitely not but I have a list of all the parts for 700 total so I just needed to confirm it fit my 16, now that I’ve done that I’m probably gona pull the trigger should be able to get it all done for 1400 total which is the cheapest I’ve seen the kit

If it’s used, keep in mind the fancy shocks need rebuilt occasionally,,, how often is debatable,,,, well this is if you’re talking about the TRD Pro. The TRD OR suspension isn’t lifted.

It’s all brand new. A kind gentleman found me all the part numbers because I have no need for the other stuff they sell with the kit, if you buy the parts individually it comes out to about 700 bucks give or take

Save some more money and buy you a set of Bilstein 5100s. It's the same shock with 2 more settings, just re-branded and a lifetime warranty.

Top settings on the front and a one inch rear bolt on rear block is what I have been running for 4 years, trouble free.

everything ive been seing the 5100s are valved stiffer than the trd branded ones. for same price the eibach kit seems to be preferred over the 5100s. ive had 5100s on 2 of my trucks and for about the same price id probably try the trds or eibachs over them for a little softer ride. personal preference tho i guess

The TRDs are re-branded 5100s but if you say there they are different please share a link.Same shock from what I have read, been in a few friends trucks who roll on the TRDs and the ride feels the same to me

I have looked at the different threads and I may have missed it but this is the first time I have heard this. I would disagree but its possible. Like I said from the two I have been it felt the same to me.

Any update on a list of the parts just for the lift kit? I’m going to buy an aftermarket trd grille with the amber drl Toyota letters and am looking for just the lift kit. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can order the parts like this from Toyota, right? I found the base kit for $510, but I can’t get the damn shocks

So I have this, I noticed the shocks are more expensive for me, I’m wondering if the Toyota I’m going through puts them in pairs. It doesn’t say if it’s a pair or not
