    Yup , seeing more and more key failures across all makes the last few years . Bmw a bunch .

    That’s a best case scenario outcome as a lot of repair shops would’ve just started to replace parts and charge you along the way.

    Mentioned already but be advised you technically are still under the transferable power train warranty.

    You MIGHT get lucky and replace the key battery and have the key reinicializad to the truck , otherwise it might need a new key , I wouldn’t put this off as you know the other one will stop working in the middle of a snowstorm , at 2am in an empty parking lot :frusty:
