    Hello Tacoma World,

I'm currently just gauging interest here. I want to see if there is a market here for synthetic winch lines, steel winch lines, winch line extensions, and soft shackles, etc. Everything would be bespoke and made to order, I'm really willing and able to do whatever people want.

A little about me: In my day job, I am a professional rigger and subject matter expert specializing in steel wire rope (SWR) and 12-strand synthetic rope, among other things. Most of my work is covered under NDAs but I am happy to show examples of my splices to anyone who is interested. I've also had my splices proof tested (read: broken on a hydraulic test machine) many times before, so I can attest to their efficiency and strength.

    Services Available
    1. Custom Winch Lines: Either synthetic or steel wire rope (SWR) construction at a diameter that fits your winch at your desired length. I can splice accessories directly on the eye or let you add them yourselves (if possible).
    2. Winch Line Extensions: Either synthetic or SWR and at which ever diameter matches your winch. Any length you like!
    3. Soft Shackles: 1/2" soft shackles for all your recovery needs. Length 10" unless otherwise specified.
    4. Soft shackles bracelets:
    5. And anything else you might think of! If there is something you want, that you haven't been able to find anywhere online, DM me and I'll see what I can come up with.
    Cost:
The specific 12 strand synthetic rope that I use at work is roughly $4/foot in 3/8" and $6.69/foot in 1/2". That seems cost prohibitive based on that other companies sell. Other companies also sell a very generic and inferior rope by comparison. So curious on your thoughts here.

If there is enough interest, I'll let everyone know I am up and running with materials.

    Thanks!

$400 for 100ft of 3/8 is less than bubba synthetic winchline
