So I went and broke this wire while doing my valve gaskets. It was tucked under the timing belt shroud and while removing the plastic wire loom covers I apparently pulled too hard while trying to unplug it.

Been going through my Haynes manual and for the life of me I can't find what this wire is. Sorry if this is common knowledge but hoping to get some info to see if I can get it fixed ASAP

Is that the knock sensor harness? If so, that can be replaced.

I think you may be right. I'm going over the fuel and exhaust system diagrams and I'm pretty sure that is the knock sensor wire.

Edit: Yep, it is the end of the two knock sensors.

Buddy had a spare taillight harness which was a 3 pin harness for his Ducati so stripped the wires down, heat shrinked it, and it worked like a charm.
