13" of heavy wet snow here and still coming down hard. Looking like we'll see about 2 ft by the end of the day.

Absolutely pouring here now. Looks like it may turn to snow this afternoon but we got a LOT of rain overnight and this morning, I don't see how any of this is going to stick! If it all freezes, it could be a shit show.

I applied my brakes for a slow wide turn and promptly slid into a little bank and ended up sideways the more I tried to get out . I’m glad I’m empty otherwise I think I would have gone over. Cody’s is on the way and then I’m bringing it in. Groton Ma is a winter wonderland

Just rain here still. I have a small leak in my basement that I've traced to a no longer used telephone cable that comes in on the "dry" side of the house. That is, the side that rarely gets wind driven rain. Why it chose today to start leaking I don't know. Moved the small amount of stuff that got wet and put a bucket to catch the water. Once it stops raining or whatever, I'll get some caulking and seal that hole up.

Rain down here too. When this switches to snow its going to get sloppy. Fortunately I'm close to home, and have a 4x4. I'm driving the wife to work at lunch (she works noon to 8ish today), she is (comedically) on my way to work, so it works out. I'll try to shovel a bit but probably just drive the truck over the plow scraps and make the front door accessible and call it a day :D looking ahead - mother nature will do my shoveling for me!

Wet and heavy stuff here, but with low accumulation. Winds are cranking in around 45-55mph. Have a feeling I’m going to have a big chainsaw day ahead of me later this week, which I’ll never complain about!

Yeah - I actually had to take a look, these things are $$$, but if you look at a tacoma + camper + retrofitting the tacoma to haul it, you're still under a moderately used Class B. In the same neighborhood, though.

@ScottyStone have y'all considered a sprinter or other type of Class B? You don't get a sweet tacoma at the end of it, but you'll have resale - and the pilots chairs might be a lot more comfortable for long hauls (well, I'll spoil it, they'll absolutely be more comfortable). That or a pop up/travel trailer if space permits. @jpereira2 tows a sweet camper behind his tacoma, way less retrofitting needed, but it's a trailer so the footprint is bigger (and you'd need a place to drop it, etc).

PS I ask because I've considered the Class B approach. The seating is a much better approach if you're in it for 10+ hours at a time, but for short hauls around New England, if it's just a couple years, Taco seats should be fine.

editing to add more: Where do you take a dump and shower? The moonlander looks bitchin' for campsite setup, I was assuming the Kimbo had a shitter though. Also look at insulation/HVAC if you're in there a lot in the elements. The moonlander looks like it's just a thin wall, Kimbo might be insulated. No idea on the HVAC units of each though.

Them moonlanders look really cool. If you're in a short box though, might be iffy.

PS is it just you or you +1?

That looks nice. I've been pondering one of those for my Tacoma if the upcoming anticipated move actually happens. There's some stuff I'll need to move and I don't want to trust it to a moving company OR rent a U-Haul truck that says, "Break into me and steal everything while I'm parked in a hotel parking lot."

About how much do they go for and are they back ordered? Oh, where did you buy it?

    Thanks,

I am absolutely swinging by next time we're up there.

:) I had to search "Kimbo campers" to get a picture, since without the campers part, it was all Mr. Slice (speaking of pizzas...)
