    Chevy is following Ford on all the gimmicks. It's supposed to distract you from realizing what a piece of shit you bought! Seems to work well for them, with all the desire the Ranger and Colorado get.

    Please begin to count the number of chevy, ford, and dodges with missing or broken tailgate latches over 10 years old.
    Now compare that to the toyotas you see.

    Now think about how long these doodads are going to last on vehicles known for falling apart.

    Toyota makes middle of the road tech, very well. Its kinda vanilla, but the stuff works.

    Just my opinion.
