There are no planned Dobinsons sales unfortunately. I wish they would do one during this time of the year though!!

Boy the shop had my hs at 3 and the LS at 14 all around. Just to be clear you suggest rebound at 1 also for 500 miles?
I do have a C4 stealth bumper with winch, Dual ARB and rails on the way so I'm hoping the 352 handle it.
Also I'm looking at the way the shop mounted the rear and worry about the leaf hitting the reservoir. Is this normal with the provided mount?

Everyone has their own preferences on the settings, and maybe that's the way they like them. Yes, setting it all out to zero for the first bit to let everything settle in is what I recommend.

The hose should normally follow the frame rail up closer, like the photos on the website:

I wish they did mount like that but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough. I am concerned that the leaf will contact the bottom of the reservoir but not it looks like the bracket included was ment for this position. Also not a fan on how they put the front reservoir behind the splashguard. Helps keep it clean but sucks to have to open for adjustments.

What's everyone's thoughts? Did my shop use the right mounts for remotes? I feel like they used the rear in front and fronts in rear.

They put the front swaybar bracket upside-down in the rear, and vice versa. o_O

The rear brackets came in the box with the rear shocks, and the fronts with the fronts. Someone mixed them up, not Dobinsons lol

    Which style did you get?
    Double cardan front/standard rear?
    Standard front/standard rear?

Double rear….it didn’t work so I’m having it removed tomorrow. I still really think it’s the pinion angle so that’s the next deal.

Looks like the shop that put it is did something because I have fluid splatter all over the underside now. What a bitch lol.

Unfortunately professional shops don't always get it right. It seems that 75% or more of alignment shops get alignments wrong too. I help people all the time that lift their trucks and have an alignment done wrong.

This is the first time I've seen resi mounts front and rear mixed up though. Pretty dumb mistake.

So, your rear drive shaft has a double cardan joint at the front and a standard u-joint in the rear?
    Like this?
    4runnerrearshaft_a7c6ba08-2d42-4f15-88f8-416e97a9ce8e_1200x1200 (1).jpg

If so, the pinion is supposed to angle up so the rear u-joint working angle is zero; completely straight...when in operation.

    So. Many. Stickers.
It's wild how many trucks come to us "from a professional shop" with horrendous alignments and weird mountings..... Never seen remote resis mounted like that though.
.the killer thing with alignments.... Is.....

They're not complicated. They can be tough (frozen/rusted bolts, etc) but like, it's not hard.....

Man you guys are making me feel lucky on how my reservoir mounts are. Crazy part is this shop has a really good reputation for custom builds but not all techs are created equal.

Well yesterday they swapped my mounting brackets and got closer to how they should be.
Now that that's somewhat OK I measured hub to fender and am sitting at 24 all four. Does that seem correct with the 352's and 111r?
