2020 Tacoma, limited, tonneau cover

Just purchased a 2020 Tacoma limited still has about two months left on the factory warranty. The tonneau cover was factory installed The rubber weatherstripping is dehydrated and has a crack in the cover itself. Can I expect the warranty to replace this? also, drivers door panel has signs of the silver paint rubbing off would this be covered also?

My Factory warranty covered replacement of the tonneau cover due to failed weatherstrips. I had to show a video of the water pouring in through it. I bought the truck used from a Toyota dealer

 

I’d definitely try and get it replaced.

 

I purchased the truck from a Chevrolet new car dealership with 24,000 miles. Beautiful truck black on black.

 

I would think toyota should still honor the warranty as long as its in the 3 year 36k mile period. At any rate no harm in asking.
