    Greetings from small town Ohio.

A few years ago I decided to start a business that requires a lot of driving and hauling a few things. Including a 6 ft ladder and a few tool bags.
As a result I finally convinced my wife that my GMC Envoy wasn't the ideal vehicle.
Lets be honest I knew logistically it could work but who doesn't want a "new" ride?
I kept driving by this used car dealership that had a little silver Tacoma sitting next to the office. I assumed it wasn't for sale. I was right...
Every time I drove by it was there, almost taunting me.
Then 2 weeks ago, there it was! Sitting in the same spot with a price on the window!

I pulled right in and told the guy I was interested in it. He said "take her for a spin." Ultimately I fell in love with it haha. Owned it less than a week later.
    It's a 04 Single cab 2wd. Obviously with the 2.4.
Guy used it to drive back and forth to Columbus to auto auctions.
145k on the odometer and not a flaw to be found other than the occasional paint chip. He undercoated it every fall and its the cleanest 1st gen Tacoma I've seen in Ohio.

I always said if I owned a small truck it would be a Tacoma.
This one is as basic as it gets, probably wont get any "oohs and aahs"
    Except from me...

    I'll upload some pictures soon!

    Glad to be here!

You would get "oohs and aahs" from me. Similarly, After starting to search for a Tacoma back in '17, I spotted an early second gen sitting at a small used car dealer lot, behind the office. It looked pretty good from the road. This was early '18, it was a white, single cab, four cylinder, automatic. I was hoping for a cherry, but it was a pit. It looked good from the road, but it was high mileage, frame rot, pitted out interior, beat to hell bed. After searching for the perfect truck (for me) for over a year, I ended up buying a new '18 ACLB 4 cylinder, auto. Not exactly what I wanted (I wanted a stick), but it has served me well and done everything I've asked of it.

Congratulations on finding your cherry, best of luck.
