    Hi guys!

Yup, had the Mini for almost three years. I went from 35 years of trucks to a Mini Cooper S when gas hit $4.00 a gallon back in 2008. I must say I have NEVER had so much fun driving a car as the Mini Cooper. Like driving a 140 mph, 32 mpg go cart. I think everyone should at some point own one just for the smile factor.

But alas, back to reality. The dealer was one half hour plus away and the Mini was starting to get quirky. I made an executive decision to get something a little more functional/dependable and easier to fix locally.

After reading some post with folks getting 200,000 miles plus on these guys I took the plunge and traded for a 2011 Tacoma, access cab, 4 cylinder, manual in Barc Red!

    Glad to be aboard!

From one new TW member to another - welcome.

And I drove a MR-2 Spyder, all 2150 pounds of it, for 6 years before picking up a double cab on Monday this week.

Welcome. I came from a similar situation as you. My previous car was a 2007 Civic Si sedan. 6 speed manual with a 8500 rpm redline. It was a blast drive but I decided that I couldn't do without a truck anymore.
