Checked out this site for a few questions I had before purchasing my Tacoma today, so quick shoutout to all the threads that helped answer my questions. Also shoutout to Junebug and Ray Ray in Delaware. Sucks the Eagles lost.

Managed to find a new '22 Black Limited for 40k and pulled the trigger. LOVE it. Coming from an '06 Tundra Limited and an '07 Highlander Limited. Get this, traded in the Highlander (186k) and got $5500 for it. Blessed.

Been buying Toyotas since my first car - '87 Corolla FX16 Hatch. If you know what that is you're an OG and I will buy you a beer.

I love chrome, and I love the V6, and I love the cab. Limited is my trim. I am the guy. But you are the people. I take my Tundra to CO every year and trash tf out of it. RWD btw. Doesn't matter. I've never driven in snow, but I have climbed mountains in that thing.

Really considered 4X4 this time around, but nah. Never needed it, and was constantly surprised that I didn't. I love how it feels like a truck, I can haul cabs for work, but it's also plush.

Signed up cause I'll probably stick around and slap a few mods on here and there. Love you guys input. Buying the bed extender for sure. Probably gonna ditch the running boards and either a lift or I I like the tube steps better. Love the TRD Pro grille that's a fact.

    Great to be here.

P.S. What's the point of the remote start if as soon as I open the door, the truck shuts off? Is it just for warming it up or am I missing something? Can I not use remote start then step in and go?

    Congrats!
Fx16 was a hatchback front wheel drive Corolla. Kinda like a Japanese AMC Gremlin, no?

    Congrats.

The Tacoma is weird about the push button. They never figured out how to make it play nice with remote start, or a clutch pedal for that matter.

It's strictly to warm the engine or cool the cabin. Having it shut down as soon as the door opens solves a lot of security problems in a simple but crude way.
